Fist Puncher Kickstarter Month: Super Happy Block Party Hackathon

Thanks to Alex Peake of Code Hero fame we were able to slip into the lightning talks at this past weekend’s Super Happy Block Party Hackathon in Palo Alto, CA. Totally unscripted, nothing prepared, just some off-the-cuff talk about indie game development and following your dreams. Watch it here:

Fist Puncher Kickstarter Month: Washington’s Wig Trailer

So you want a copy of Washington’s Wig, the winning game from IGN’s The Next Game Boss? Go to our Fist Puncher Kickstarter and for a small donation you can reserve a copy of Washington’s Wig. You also get a digital thank you card and your name on our website’s Fist Puncher credits page. Fist Puncher Kickstarter Month: Matt’s Retro Game Collection Vol. 1

The Fist Puncher Kickstarter Campaign Begins!

Fist Puncher Kickstarter

Our secret project is live! We’re happy to announce the launch of our Kickstarter campaign to help raise funding for our upcoming videogame Fist Puncher. Kickstarter is a crowdsourcing website where we ask our fans to help fund Fist Puncher in exchange for copies of the game and all sorts of other cool prizes and incentives (ever dream of being in a videogame?). This will also be the first chance to get your hands on Washington’s Wig, our Next Game Boss winner. Our goal is to raise $10,000, the funds needed to finish Fist Puncher in the upcoming months. With YOUR help, we can do this and finally bring Dr. Karate, Steroid Jackson, Kid Justice, Hella Fistgerald and the rest of the Fist Puncher cast to life. So, let’s roll. Click on the link below and help us get Fist Puncher done! We need your support! THANKS!

Fist Puncher Meets Kony 2012

Fist Puncher Meets Kony
Invisible Children’s KONY 2012 documentary has brought increasing attention to the barbaric acts and unspeakable atrocities committed by Joseph Kony, leader of the violent Ugandan paramilitary group the Lord’s Resistance Army. With each passing day, more and more bloggers, media pundits, and celebrities are calling for the capture of Kony. We decided to take matters into our own hands and sent the cast from FIST PUNCHER to mete out a good, solid helping of justice.

More GDC 2012 Webisodes

Here’s a couple more webisodes from our trip to GDC. We got some final thoughts on the show and put together some highlights of the hours and hours of Fist Puncher gameplay. Thanks to everyone that stopped by the booth to play, GameSpy for hooking us up with the exhibition space, the other members of the Indie Open House for being supportive and welcoming, Notch for having an inspirational beard, Phil Fish for not swearing at us, and Greg Miller for making the whole show possible by saving the world just moments prior to the doors opening.

GDC 2012: In Search of Notch

One of the more exciting parts of GDC was the rumor that epic videogame super-celebrity Notch, creator of Minecraft, was roaming around the exhibition floor. We tried desperately to hunt down The Bearded One, show him our game Fist Puncher, and hopefully be granted a coveted spot in his CubeCon convention. Take a look at these webisodes that track our exploits as Team Fist Puncher goes In Search of Notch.
